After the sensational Boy meets World Tour through Europe, Drake visited Australia and New Zealand as part of his tour in November 2017. In September 2017, METRO AG hosted an event on the occasion of its rebranding and new naming in exhibition hall 8b in Düsseldorf. For this purpose, Stage Kinetik GmbH was commissioned to build a winch system with 192 WinchOne winches in a grid of 16x12 winches. The distance between the winches was supposed to be 2 meters.

The world exhibition EXPO 2017 was held in Astana/Kazakhstan from 10 June to 10 September 2017. A large opening show took place in the newly built Congress Center. Under the slogan Future Energy: Action for Global Sustainability this show was staged spectacularly with the help of Stage Kinetik technology.

The Live Entertainment Award (LEA) was presented at Musikmesse Frankfurt in 2017 as well. The event took place in the venerable Festhalle Frankfurt. In addition to a large number of moving trusses, which were moved using Movecat chain hoists of the VMK-S 500 type, other kinetic elements were used as well.

Early 2017 marked the start of Drake’s spectacular Boy meets World Tour in Europe. The extensive tour started on 28 January 2017 in the Ziggo Dome Amsterdam, where it also ended on 29 March 2017. During a total of 34 concerts, the audience was presented a considerably changed stage design.
