Mazda celebrates European premiere at Geneva International Motor Show 2015
The 85th Geneva International Motor Show 2015 opened its doors this year from 5th to 15th of March. Beside other car manufacturers, Mazda also took the opportunity to present 5 new models at its booth. In front of the eyes of the curious audience, the new CX-3 was presented for the first time in Europe. Using a winding mechanism, which was especially developed by Stage Kinetik, the fabric covering the CX-3 was removed.
Winding mechanism with a maximum feed speed of up to 37km/h
The operation of the winding mechanism was speed-controlled and the fabric was drawn into the mechanism. The winding drum reached a maximum feed speed of up to 37km/h. Thus, the fabric could be removed from the vehicle within just a few seconds.
