Ruhrtriennale 2013
The Ruhrtriennale is firmly established in the cultural life of the Ruhr area. Since 2002 it yearly delights the audience with impressive stagings in the sector of theatre and music. “Das Mädchen mit den Schwefelhölzern” was staged in 2013. Stage Kinetik equipped the stage production with the kinetic elements.
6 x winches, 6 x movecat chain hoists and a lifting platform
Called into action were among other things 6 winches for fluorescent lamps. All together 6 movecat chain hoists moved stage elements , each with a weight of up to 250 kilograms. Every single scene had an individual set that could be set fast and easy. The stage elements were among others a burning chair, a cage, a snow machine and a pyramid out of sand. As an highlight a small lifting platform with an iceberg (6 meters high) could be lifted.
